Prayer For Pregnant Daughter
Lord Jesus, I lovingly pray for this sweet hope
that I keep within my womb.
You have granted me the immense gift
of a tiny little life,
living in my own life,
and I humbly thank you for choosing me
as an instrument of your love.
In this sweet waiting,
help me to live in a constant attitude
of self-surrender to your will. Amen
O God of all creation, Nurture and protect tiny children and
keep them safe in the sanctuary of their mother's womb.
As You so wondrously form their hearts
and minds and lungs and souls, so strengthen our will to lovingly nurture
and protect them
.
Give us the eyes to see them as our
brothers and sisters, the minds to
welcome them as our own, and the faith
to defend them as Your children.
We ask this through the intercession of
Mary, our Blessed Mother, and them other of all the little ones, through Christ, Your Son, our Lord. Amen
Lord God, Creator of all things, mighty and awesome, just and forgiving, you alone are good and kind. You saved Israel from all manner of plagues, making our forefathers your chosen people, and hallowing them by the touch of your Spirit. You, by the cooperation of the Holy Spirit, prepared the body and soul of the glorious Virgin Mary to be a worthy dwelling for your Son. You filled John the Baptist with the Holy Spirit, causing him to leap with joy in his mother's womb. Accept the offering of a humble spirit, and grant the heartfelt desire of your servant, N. who pleads for the safety of the child you allowed her to conceive. Guard the life that is yours; defend it from all the craft and spite of the pitiless foe. Let your gentle hand, like that of a skilled physician, aid her delivery, bringing her offspring safe and sound to the light of day. May her child live to be reborn in holy baptism, and continuing always in your service, be found worthy of attaining everlasting life; through Christ our Lord. AMEN
Lord, we beg you to visit this dwelling, and to drive away from it and from this servant of yours, N, all the enemy's wiles. Let your holy angels be appointed here to keep her and her offspring in peace; and let your blessing + ever rest upon her. Save them, almighty God, and grant them your everlasting light; through Christ our Lord.
The environment of my delivery will be charged with God's presence and shall not be conducive for any form of satanic operation in Jesus name. Amen
Angels of God will be present to assist the Doctor and Nurses that will take my delivery in Jesus name. Amen
Dear Lord, I pray for my baby's hands and fingers, feet and toes, that they will grow and develop properly. I pray for the elbows and wrists that are developing as well, they they will be good and strong and flex as they should. Please bless my baby's hands and use them for the good of Your kingdom. Bless my baby's feet and help my child to always walk with You, God. Lord, thank You for blessing each one of us with special gifts and talents. I pray that whatever my child does with his or her hands, he or she will do it well and use it for the ministry. Bless the work of my child's hands. Help him to be diligent in his work so he may be viewed to have godly character. And, Lord, bless my child's feet that they might go where You want them to go, for Your ministry. I know that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and I acknowledge You as our Creator and God. I praise You for all You have done and for all You will do. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You for making it to the second trimester this week! I praise You for the miracle of this baby I'm carrying. Truly, You are a great and wonderful Thank you for caring for my unborn baby, as You said in so many verses. Lord, I pray for my child that he or she will exhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help me to be a role model of these. Lord, I want to live in my life in harmony with You, so that I bring Your Spirit into our home and into my child's life. Help me be the loving mother You want me to be. And, Lord, I also pray for the physical development of my baby. Please cause everything that is happening this week to develop properly. Psalm 139:13 says, You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I thank You for this encouraging Scripture. Please knit together cause to develop properly every part of my baby's being: body, soul, and spirit. In Jesus' name. Amen.
