Catholic Collect for the Feast of Saint Joseph

Let us pray
[that the Church will continue
the saving work of Christ]
Father,
You entrusted our Savior to the care of St. Joseph,
By the help of his prayers
may the Church continue to serve its Lord,
Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Catholic Collect for the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker

God our Father,
Creator and Ruler of the universe,
in every age you call man
to develop and use his gifts for the good of others.
With St. Joseph as our example and guide,
help us to do the work you have asked
and come to the rewards you have promised.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Short Prayer to St. Joseph

St. Joseph,
foster father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and true spouse of the Virgin Mary,
pray for us.
New St. Joseph People's Prayer Book

To You O Blessed Joseph (Ad Te, Beate Ioseph)

To you, O blessed Joseph,
do we come in our tribulation,
and having implored the help of your most holy spouse,
we confidently invoke your patronage also.
Through that charity which bound you
to the immaculate Virgin Mother of God
and through the paternal love
with which you embraced the Child Jesus,
we humbly beg you graciously to regard
the inheritance which Jesus Christ
has purchased by his Blood,
and with your power and strength
to aid us in our necessities.

O most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family,
defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ;
O most loving father,
ward off from us
every contagion of error and corrupting influence;
O our most mighty protector,
be propitious to us and from heaven assist us
in our struggle with the power of darkness;
and, as once you rescued the Child Jesus from deadly peril,
so now protect God's Holy Church
from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity;
shield, too, each one of us by your constant protection,
so that, supported by your example and your aid,
we may be able to live piously, to die holily,
and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. Amen.

Benedictine Collect for the Feast of St. Joseph

We beseech Thee, O Lord
that we may be helped by the merits
of the spouse of Thy most Holy Mother,
so that what we cannot obtain of ourselves
may be given to us
through his intercession.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen

Benedictine Collect for the Feast of St. Joseph the Workman

O God,
the Creator of all things,
Who imposeth on man the law of work;
grant in Thy goodness that,
by the example of St. Joseph
and under his patronage,
we may accomplish the work that
Thou commandest us to do
and attain the reward
that Thou has promised us.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
